My name is David Oganian, and I am a composer and director. My musical career began at the age of 13 when I finished music school with a focus on percussion instruments. Later, I enrolled in a college on the pop-jazz faculty, studying piano while also pursuing a higher education in psychology, eventually completing my postgraduate studies.
With the birth of my first child, my son Mark, I was inspired to create my first studio. This place was meant to be a space for meetings and collaborations with artists. Thus began my experience working in a session format for writing music. I kept a diary, documenting observations about what needed improvement or enhancement in the atmosphere. I understood that finding a balance between the technical and mental aspects is crucial in creating any product.
Traveling through various countries and working in different studios, I realized that the magic of music is impossible without the right atmosphere, even with the best equipment. In my first studio, I aimed to create a sense of homely comfort, as if you were in a vacuum, away from the outside world. It was a space where one could hide away and focus on creativity.
The location was important to me—I sought a place where the power of nature could be felt. Sochi became the ideal choice, as here one can enjoy the mountains, relax by waterfalls, or write by the sea. All of this became a unique experience that I recorded in my diaries and that continues to evolve.
The concept of my studio will be based on this experience, striving to create a space where art and nature converge, and inspiration finds its way to music.
In building my team, I aim to convey the values that help me create a unique product while remaining within the industry. My goal is to understand the genuine concerns of artists and directors to achieve unexpected results, where creators feel truly unique.
We have moved away from a pay-per-hour format that often leads to a lifeless production flow. For us, time is divided into two key points: the start and the deadline. We learn to respect trends, but do not copy them; instead, we strive to create something new and original.
This philosophy has become the foundation of our work and allows our team to grow, experiment, and achieve results that inspire and amaze. We create not just music, but entire worlds where each artist can unlock their potential and leave their mark.
