Мировая премьера одноактного спектакля Анастасии Вядро «Красавицы не могут уснуть» на музыку Давида Оганьяна.

Это феминный балет на каблуках — пластическая полифония женских архетипов, заключенных внутри женщины. В центре повествования находится одна героиня по имени Эва, а ее подсознание олицетворяют 8 женских персонажей, существующих с ней в одном пространстве.

Ushatava впервые разработал образы для балерин в Московском академическом Музыкальном театре имени К. С. Станиславского и Вл. И. Немировича-Данченко (МАМТ). Креативный директор марки Нино Шаматова стала художником по костюмам балетной постановки Анастасии Вядро «Красавицы не могут уснуть».

Manizha Standing Between Two Walls

Manizha has opposed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine since the beginning, resulting in hate campaigns towards her from the state. However, there are also those outside of the country who would put all Russians into one group because of the government’s actions, meaning she is also shunned elsewhere. The Eurovision 2021 star therefore feels like she is “Standing Between Two Walls”. Manizha’s new song explores this struggle, but she reaffirms that she will always fight for the right thing: “Even if my government is trying to cancel me / That’s fine / Even if the whole world will cancel me / That’s fine / I will still fight for peace / I will stand for people”

A surreal world of women existing in a confined space, in a closed community, in the absolute “here”. All events and actions are looped, tomorrow there will be a New day, a new dedicated, a new rebel, a new outcast. Self-preservation. Desire for approval. Leadership versus friendship. Follow the crowd and their wild will or be out of the circle. System or death.

Director and choreographer Darya Gushina reasons on the topic of relationship between equals, when mental and physical violence suddenly becomes the main argument in the dialogue. Through movements and music against a harsh landscape, the author shows us how the winners, who are torn by conflicting feelings, invariably disguise their doubts and shame on their actions behind striving for humane goals and ideals.
